UEFA EURO 2024 was a huge success!

The volunteers were the faces and ambassadors of UEFA EURO 2024. 16,000 of them were selected from 146,000 applications and spent an unforgettable time with many experiences, adventures and new friendships.
After the tournament, 98% of the volunteers said they would like to take part again. This confirms the positive spirit, in line with the tournament motto “United by football. Vereint im Herzen Europas”, which prevailed during the tournament. During the entire tournament, there were only 287 drop-outs.
The dominant colour of the tournament was of course green. Peppered with yellow and gray elements – it was the volunteer uniform that was visible everywhere around the stadium and in the ten host cities. More than 94% of the volunteers were very enthusiastic about it.
What remains are great memories, but in Germany you won’t have to wait long for the next UEFA event. The UEFA Champions League final will take place in Munich in 2025.
